Alysha joins Remedy following several years of experience in mental health and trauma research. Focusing on how social tools can be directed towards better mental health outcomes, her work recognizes the importance of interpersonal relationships and social structures more broadly. She has collaborated on projects investigating trauma-informed care for community health organizations, and explored questions such as how social support may impact access to and use of mental health services. Alysha values accessibility, inclusivity, and kindness, and strives to incorporate these qualities in her work at Remedy.
Alysha has a BA in Psychology and Behavioural Science and is currently completing her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Public Health Policy at the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health.
