*Please note that Jenny primarily offers virtual sessions at Remedy. Occasional in person sessions may be arranged on an as-requested basis.
Jenny is a child and adolescent psychologist who holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Guelph and an MA in Counselling Psychology from the University of Western Ontario. Jenny is a warm, compassionate, and intuitive clinician who works primarily with transitional-aged youth who are navigating the unique challenges and opportunities of the later adolescent years. With over thirteen years of experience in community, educational, and private practice settings, Jenny deeply understands the developmental, emotional, and relational changes that shape this pivotal stage of life.
Jenny uses her authentic and relatable approach to support young people in exploring their identities and values, understanding and processing their emotions, and navigating life’s transitions with greater clarity, self-awareness, and self-compassion. Many of the individuals she works with experience anxiety, perfectionism, self-criticism, and identify as deeply feeling and emotionally attuned. Jenny can support these individuals in better understanding themselves, their experiences, and their unique ways of navigating the world. Her work also includes helping people manage anxiousness, mood changes, emotion dysregulation, and relational challenges, while fostering an authentic connection to themselves and others.
Jenny’s approach is grounded in developmental and attachment-based principles, and is trauma-informed, inclusive, and affirming of all identities. Jenny sees the therapeutic relationship as a safe space for trust, connection, and meaningful change. Drawing from emotion-focused, compassion-focused, relational, mindfulness, and acceptance-based approaches, Jenny roots her
work in emotional understanding, processing, and exploration—often using emotions that arise in session as a catalyst for insight, growth, and transformation, ultimately aiming to help her clients cultivate resilience and deepen self-understanding.
Jenny also provides assessment and therapy for adults under the supervision of Dr. Sarah Horowitz. Her primary approach to therapy with adults is Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT).

Feeling overwhelmed by climate change, war, AI, or other global crises? You’re not alone. Join a supportive group to explore and process the complex emotions of living in a rapidly changing world. Guided by The Work That Reconnects (developed by eco-philosopher Joanna Macy), we’ll share, reflect, and build resilience together.
Holotropic Breathwork provides an important and powerful opportunity for deep self exploration and healing. Lying on a mat, with eyes closed, you use your own breath and the music in the room to enter an expanded state of awareness. This activates the inner healing wisdom which then guides the process.
