About
Natalie’s work is grounded in authenticity, compassion, and a deep belief in each person’s capacity for growth. She meets clients exactly where they are to navigate life’s challenges together.
Drawing on a range of evidence-based approaches, Natalie incorporates cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) in her work. She has experience supporting individuals with anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, and mental health concerns related to chronic illness. Natalie also has a special interest in working with individuals and couples around sexual health and relationship concerns, providing a nonjudgmental space to explore these deeply personal areas of life. Natalie takes a client-centred, collaborative approach, adapting her work to the unique identity, values, and goals of each person or couple she has the privilege of working with.
Currently, Natalie is completing her Postdoctoral Fellowship with the Remedy Institute, supporting research on MDMA-assisted cognitive-behavioural conjoint therapy for posttraumatic stress disorder alongside her clinical practice. Her doctoral research explored the feasibility of using virtual reality exposure therapy to address sex-related fears in women, reflecting her commitment to innovative, client-centred care.
